Guides / Game UID Explained
What Is a Game UID and Why Is It Needed?
A quick explainer that applies to Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, and most other UID-based top-ups.
UID, In Plain Terms
A UID (User ID), sometimes called a Player ID or Character ID, is the unique number a game assigns to every account. It works like an account number: it identifies exactly who you are in the game's system, without exposing any private information.
UID vs Password
A UID and a password serve very different purposes:
- UID — public, safe to share, used to identify which account should receive a top-up.
- Password — private, never shared, used to log in and control the account.
Why Top-Up Services Ask for It
Services like Topup Nepal deliver Diamonds, UC and other in-game currency directly to an account — without ever logging in. The UID tells the system exactly which account to credit, which is why it's the only identifier needed. That's also why it's safe: a UID alone can't be used to log in or take control of an account.
